Additional Aromatherapy Techniques
This course is suitable to the qualified therapist who has completed the Level III Diploma in Aromatherapy and wishes to update to enable them to join the Aromatherapy Consortium Register.
Aromatherapy is the specialist application of essential oils and is used in a variety of contexts including palliative care within the Health Services.
Critical aspects of the qualification are the decision making concerned with the safe blending of essential oils and their appropriateness in use based on client assessment. The purposes of treatment are uplift, relaxation, stress relief, alleviation of minor ailments and symptoms and help with important life changes.
The course will cover:
Additional Aromatherapy techniques including the knowledge of a further 20 oils (40 in total). Update information to allow you to gain this extra qualification.
D1120 Level III Diploma in Health, Safety, Security and Employment Standards will be set as an assignment to be completed at home, guidance will be provided during your course. If you have completed M2/M74 or VRO2/VR74 in the past three years, you are exempt from the D1120 provided you enclose a copy of your certificate.
To cover the ranges, you need to complete 60 case studies at home or in our salon.
